Spiritual Knowledge and Understanding Brings True Deliverance.

In proverbs a book filled with spiritual wisdom. It is said that "through knowledge the righteous will be delivered" Proverbs 11:9 (KJV). As simple as this statement sound, it is a very powerful piece of information. Only through understanding the laws of the spirit and how to control the manifestations of the plots of the enemy. Only then, can we get and keep our deliverances. There are many walking up and down with their physical hands and feet free of shackles but if God should open your eyes to see beyond the natural. You would be surprised at how chained up these individuals are. Don't be surprised when I tell you this can be found even amongst many that professed to be "Christians." Going to church on sundays, praying and reading a scripture now and then is just not enough to keep striving to that mark of holiness daily. We need to understand what we are up against and how can we fight from that place of victory that is in Christ our Lord.

In order to see effective results in our Christian lives we must take the time guided by the Holy Spirit to study LIFE IN THE SPIRIT.

People of God, there is so much more to life and the hardship we are facing than just what the natural eyes can see. To narrow down this discussion, let us look at the term "open doors."

What does having an open door means? We all know what a door is and that it gives access to a certain area. Believe this truth that many things in the natural or an replica of what is in the spiritual realm as life begins there first.

You might see someone invent a evil device and you wonder where on earth he got that ungodly idea. Well, I'll tell you he got it from a kingdom that exist beyond the natural realm. Everything you see around us had manifested form either kingdom, the kingdom of light or the kingdom of darkness."

The same way that we use the natural doors to access certain areas. Is the same way there are spiritual doors that we can give access to spirits wether it be the spirit of God or demonic spirits. Jesus said "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" Revelation 3:20 (KJV).

What door is he referring to? That's the question we should ask ourselves and where is this door.

Tell two people "life is spiritual." I want you to know in the same way Jesus need access by us opening a door is the same way demons need access. Hence, the devil and its principalities have created many doors that can give them access to our lives.

One of the doors the enemy comes into our lives by legal right is through secular music. What I am about to share with you was a personal encounter I had that revealed this spiritual knowledge to me.

One day, I went to an engagement party. While I was at this event, they were playing what the music sector described as "souls music". I must tell you, I was a sucker for those kinds of song. Before I got converted to Christianity, my playlist was filled with many "love songs", reggae and a little bit of "clean" dancehall. I put these words in colons because those are a lie from the pit of hell! Now, that I started walking by the spirit of God I decided I would clean my phone of some of these music but that I would keep the "love songs" otherwise called "souls music." Please noticed the key word here (SOUL) music.

One day while I was in a taxi the Lord spoke to my heart as I was jamming on some love songs. He said "Listen!" With a stern voice and for the first time in my life I could hear the worship in these songs I was listening to. The artist said "not being with you feels like I'm breathing no air" as though this individual was their God. I was a bit taken back by that experience and made the choice to rid my phones of these music.

Fast forward to the engagement party. This was more than a year later. Completely disregarding what the Lord had said about those kind of music, I decided to dance and sing some of these songs and preceding to post some clips on my social media handles of me vibing to it. A few weeks later maybe, a servant of the Lord called me and told me his thoughts on me posting those clips and how he was disappointed knowing the fact that so many people looked up to me. At the time I wasn't really aware that I was a role model to many, especially young people.

To be honest, I did not received his perception on this and when I asked him to explain why is it bad for Christian's to listen to secular music, there was nothing much he could say except the fact that it was ungodly. Knowing me, I questioned this statement. There are people who have said that they cannot handle the fact that I questioned everything but that's just me. I cannot allow you to feed me with information without actually evidence that you have clear understanding and revelations behind what you are saying. What caused you to believe this to be true? I asked him which of course he didn't have that spiritual knowledge to give me.

Even though, I respected the man of God because knowing him. He is a true servant of God who loves the Lord dearly. I know I could trust his words re; the things of God but I needed spiritual revelations behind this statement because only that alone would prevent me from listening to these music.

I was caught between my love for these songs verses the warning of a true servant of God. What was I going to do? Was I going to stop because man said I should stop or was I going to stop because there is more to it that I know. Only one way to find out and that was to seek knowledge in the Lord.

I spent the next couple days after our conversation seeking the Lord on the matter. I asked God what was the knowledge behind why it's important that Christians stay away from these music. I told him I needed to understand so I don't find myself in trouble because of ignorance. That's when the Lord revealed the truth behind secular music.

I had a vision and in this vision, I saw where I was inside my house and I was singing a "souls" song. The Lord has hid from my memory the song I was singing but I know by the spirit it was a love song. Suddenly this dark figure which was a demon appeared and began following me wherever I go in the house. Then I turned around and rebuke the spirit and it left.

The revelation behind this experience was demonic forces are attached to some of these secular music. The problem is we won't know which ones. There are many artist that have sold their souls to the devil hence, demonic forces embodied them in some of their music. Some illegally tapped into the spiritual realm through getting high on drugs for inspiration on lyrics for their song. There are so many other ways that demonic forces get attached to these music. The Lord revealed to me that when we sing or dance to these songs we are coming in agreement with the spirit behind those songs which can open doors for these demons to attached themselves to areas of our lives.

Have you ever wonder after listening to certain secular music. It's like your atmospheres have shift and all of sudden you feel so heavily depressed? That's because by you singing and dancing the song you have given that demon access legally to you. Unless you repent and renounce that devil, it will remain in that area of your mind, will or emotions.

You don't have to accept what I'm saying on this but I definitely recommend don't just brush it off but seek the Holy Ghost for your own confirmation. Since then, I have tried my best to tuned out these music because I now know for a fact that it is an open door to devils.

In closing, I want you to know that knowledge is power! When you know that you know that you are sure about a thing no one can take that power away from you. It's God's will for us to find the spiritual weapon of knowledge in him to pull down, never to be restored again demonic strongholds. Lack of having this weapon can cause one to perish first spiritually and then a physical untimely death.

I encourage you all to seek the things that are greater in life such as these weapons in God especially the Fear of the LORD, wisdom, knowledge and understanding beginning salvation through Jesus Christ. When you have these survival kits, it shall be well with you and you shall be like "a tree that is planted by the rivers, you shall not be moved."
