Grant God Access..

Have you ever experienced rushing to go somewhere perhaps you don’t want to be late for school, work, interview or an important meeting. When you get to the door with one hands full of the stuff you need to aid you through the day and the other trying to find the key to open the lock so you can leave your house. Imagine all keys look alike and after many attempts to get the lock open you are still not able to open it.

“I am pretty sure I tried using the right key”, you maybe wondering “so why isn’t this door opening”. By this time you glimpse the time and realize that if you don’t leave the house in less than 5mins you will be late for this event. You are frustrated! And with one hand you keep trying to find the key for the lock. Finally, you decide to put down all the load from the hand you were carrying them and search through carefully the keys in your hand. Finally you saw a key and maybe you don’t think nothing much of the key but when you tried it you realized all along they right key was there you just never tried it. Finally, you open the door and possibility get to the event on time.

Sounds familiar? I believe all of us at some point experienced this or something similar. Now I want for you to imagine this scenario again but this time imagine you the lock representing access to your life and Jesus is on the other side knocking at your door to enter in your life. The load in one hand is everything you have been through and still carrying as weight on your shoulder. The event represents the cares of this life and because you are so caught up with the cares of this life that’s more important to you than anything else. Yes you are burden down and frustrated because every thing you try nothing seems to make sense.

I must testify that Jesus often times represent the key that might look like nothing special to you at first. I remember when I was not saved by grace and others would minister to me about God I would sometimes think to myself that they are exaggerating this whole Christianity thing. I saw Jesus as smoking a cigarette. Of course, when you puff the smoke and inhale it you feel that high but quickly it wears off and life becomes norm again. Nothing special or extraordinary, but what I didn’t know what that even though this simply key looks like nothing special. It would be the one to set me free.

If you are reading this and can relate to the scenario mentioned at the beginning of this story. You have tried all other options and nothing is working out for you. As you are getting old time is running out on you. You know in your heart that your life feel like a waste and not fulfilling. I came to tell you today that since you have tried everything else and it didn’t work before you give up. Try this simply key Jesus! “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” John 14:6

As long as the door that grant God access you is lock messages like this will always be a mystery to you and you will never understand what it means to experience the true love of God. “For God so loved this world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

The love of God for you is so rich and not until you grant him access to your life then he is restricted from revealing to you the essence of love. Oh how I wish that man would experience the love of God the way I did. One night I had a dream and God had visited me in a particular form that I was use to and when he showed up in that dream I knew this was God speaking to me. I was worshiping him with a song. Singing praises unto him I can’t remember the song I was singing but as I was worshipping him he began to communicate back to me his love for me and even though he didn’t express this with words but he allowed me to feel a tip of his love. My heart could burst out with joy and gladness it was so overwhelming I couldn’t contain. I felt like I was going to explode and that was one explosion that I would be okay with! It was so powerful hallelujah even now as I write this article I can feel the residue of that feeling and it still feels awesome. Now you know why I say “it is the love of God for me”.

This key that is simply, this key that you overlooked because you thought it is just like the others and this key that you seem hidden in the bunch of other keys is the same key that will change your life forever.

It is that key tht will grant you access on the other side in other words. It will grant God access to come in and make your life new. “If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts” Ps 95:8

If you only seek his face

Don’t turn him away

Accept him today

If you are a believer reading this and you have not really experienced the true essence of the love of God which is that constant joy within, maybe it is that you have testimonies of God coming through for you in a situation when you need him but cannot relate to that inner joy to make you feel like you would kick those shoes off and run from city to city telling the good news that God is the love of your life and you are the love of his! If that’s the case then now is a great opportunity to sit in a quiet space is possible and ask the Holy Spirit which area of your life you have restrict him access.

Today we choose to open every areas of our life and grant our abba Father which art in heaven access through his Holy Spirit so that we can experience what belongs to us by divine rights which is the everlasting love of our Lord Jesus Christ. God bless you

Prayer

Father I come to you today in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Lord I thank you for reminding me that you are always looking to come and commune daily with me. Today I choose with my free will to grant you access. Access to my home, family, marriage, friends, associates, job, health, finances, mind, body, soul and every other areas of my life. I come in agreement with your will today for my life and remind me always whenever I need to grant you access as I walk with you through this life. In your precious name I pray so shall it be, amen.
