Demons Know

Demons know... I have a close friend who once said there are three people we cannot fool. While we can succeed at fooling others we cannot fool God, we cannot fool demons and we cannot fool ourselves. I believe this to be true. We know God the creator of all things is the all-knowing God. We, know who we truly are despite what we strive to make others believe about us and the demons they know... they know who is truly saved and is of God and who's not.

There are many things we know about Demons including that they are highly intelligent beings and that they are very secretive. They are like that little shadow that you don't always see but in most cases you know is there. They stay hidden for many reasons including to observe and study the ways of men. They know when to attack, oppress and suppress humanity. Take for example, when Satan went to tempt Jesus in the wilderness. Notice the time he showed up, he showed up when Jesus was in his most vulnerable state. The Bible tells us that Jesus had just finished 40 days and nights of no food fastening. The scripture highlights that he was hungry.

"Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread." Matthew 4:1-3

Have you ever wondered why satan chose to wait until his fast ended? Because Satan, since the creation of humanity make it his priority to study the ways of man. At the time when he tempt Jesus, he had enough understanding that human beings after a while without food are weak, vulnerable, emotional, and hungry. He thought Jesus would succumb to his suggestions to help satisfied that state but Jesus showed Satan that though he was hungry indeed man should not live by bread alone but by something greater which is the WORD of God!

Demons watch and observe everything about us and they communicate this to kingdom of darkness. I remember being on a live show on a podcast app and there was one caller who seem to be a satanist called in to say. He heard about me and that he came to check what I was really about and he went on to say that he had a demon with the same name "Melissa" who works for him and that he has his eyes on me and he's watching me. His call took me by surprise and I think I reponded by saying God bless you and end the call. There are human agents that study the church and then there are spiritual demonic agents that act on behalf of these human and they know the ones who say with their lips "I am Christian or a servant of God." They know the ones who act like a Christian at church and in front of people who know they profess to be Christians but their hearts and lifestyle are far from what they claim to be. They watch us to see wether or not we are really sold out for the gospel.

They listen our conversations and the way we speak when we are upset. They listen to how we gossip behind the back of others. They watch to see how often do we pray or spend time in prayer and wether or not we have a fasting life. They watch us to see how we treat people especially when we can't have our way. They observe how we respond to God wether or not we fear him.

Do we, who claim to be servants of God live our lives as though we truly believe he is coming soon? Well the demons know and they also know those of us that are lukewarm and they know those servants who are spiritual dead.

They know the "goat from the sheep or the wheat from the tares." They know those who have found their true purpose and are living in it and who dont even care to find their's. They know who bears fruit and who is whithering away just going with the motions. They know who profess to be not of the world but are so carnally minded that they live their lives bound to their five senses. They know those who are spiritually minded. Who seek to understand the spiritual aspect of life vs. those who are just living for things that are in this life careers, financial breakthroughs, blessings, marriage, kids, nice house and cars to live comfortably. In other words, They know who are setting their hearts on the things above and not on the earth.

They know the remnants! In fact, I believe as they plan their devices to destroy. They communicate with their kingdom that "hey, let's plan carefully to attack this house.. because this is a true servant and their God might destroy us." This is what many demons say about the true remnants of God for they know who are truly sons and daughters of God Vs who are pretending to be.

Here is the evidence of what I am saying can be found in the book of Acts 19 from 13-16 of a story where some so called Jews who did not believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and tried to do an exorcist in the name of God and the demon said to them " And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?" in other words, I know Jesus because he certainly proved himself to be the son of God and I know Paul because like Jesus Paul proved himself to be a son of God but you? Who are you? Who do you think you are? Certainly, you are none of these men. I only fear the God in them but you do not have that same God in you so why should I do anything that you say?

"Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LordJesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

15, And the evil spirit answered and said Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?"

Demons they know...

The power of God will only work through those who yield to his spirit and this is not just a one day thing. Living sold out for God is a lifestyle and yes it is hard but it's worth it. Can you imagine while you are in church singing, dancing and speaking in tongues demons are laughing at you? Can you even fathom the thought of being mocked by a demon when you try to command them to leave? How disappointing that is for any who experienced these things and what's most sad is if we are not even aware. As believers of the gospel of Jesus Christ let us strive to be pure and holy. It is not easy, I would be lying if I should say so. There were many times in my walk with God I messed up I remember committing a sin that was something I knew God's spirit was grieved at because the Bible talks about this sin as something God hates. I went to a pastor wounded and looking for some kind of restoration and it resulted in me feeling like I would never be forgiven.

The pastor waste no time to make me feel tainted and remembered for that sin that I committed. I don't think he did it intentionally but his lack of compassion caused me to feel like I made a mistake in opening up to him. I felt condemned and as though I had now become a shadow to the pastor and a hugh disappointment to God but our loving Father would not allow me to feel that way for long. One day I believe in the midst of this disgusting act that I had done and this was while being saved God said to me "Nothing takes me by surprised, you feel this way because you were surprised this happen and you never thought that after being saved this could happened to you" He said "but I knew it would long before I saved you but I gave you my Spirit anyways". This gave me the courage to get up and move on with the Lord knowing that even though He was not condoning my sin he was also not condemning me for it "Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." John 8:10-11

He wanted me to know he did not make any mistake when he saved me and that I can get up from this place because life happens and he is with me every step of the way. Also, he sent women and men of God who love people and who desire to see us all make it to heaven. They encouraged me and I felt safe opening up to them and I am now pass that and have forgiven myself and guess what I would never ever, commit that sin again. I'm saying all this to say it's never easy living a pure Christian life but my brothers and sisters, try everyday to make these devils know that you are truly of God because you love him and your life is dedicated to him. Do everything you can by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to live a pure and holy life.

Let the devils see that you choose daily to deny flesh. Let him see that porn and masturbation is something that you can live without as long as you have Jesus. As they watch and take records of you daily. Let them see that you pray without ceasing. Let them see that you are sensitive to the spirit of God who leads you into fasting when it's time. Let them see that if you do not have good to say about someone you rather not say anything at all. Let them see you choosing to not respond to a situation when you are angry. Let them not see you constantly speaking in wrath, let them see that when you are being persecuted even in your household you humble yourself because you are the light of that home.

Let them see you turning down those invites to ungodly places. Let them see that you do not entertain sexual conversations outside of marriage, let them see you rejoicing in sufferings and keeping your temple of God which is your body holy as it is written and finally, let them see Jesus Christ through you.

This would not refrain them from attacking you but they will have to plan their attacks very good! Because they know that as it is written in Romans 8:31 "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? and in psalms 3:3 that no matter what firey darts they launch at you God is your glory and the lifter of your head! "But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high."

I guarantee that when your life is a life that depicts Jesus Christ daily as your Lord then the promises of God are sure! If he blesses the ungodly with life daily how much more will he do for those of us who are called by his name and humble ourselves before him.

You are children of a Holy God. Is your name recorded in hell book as such? Or do demons know otherwise?
