A Prayer to help your heart to open up and trust Jesus

Let’s take a moment to pause and pray.

Father,

We come before You today, acknowledging that trusting You doesn’t always come easily. Many of us have carried the weight of disappointment and broken trust from others, and it has made us hesitant to let go and surrender to You. But Lord, today we ask for healing in those places of our hearts.

We ask that You teach us how to trust You in all things—with our future, our finances, our families, our marriages, our children, our health, our dreams. Help us not to lean on our own understanding, but to rely fully on You and Your Word. You are faithful. You are true. You are constant. You never fail.

Give us the grace to believe even when we don’t see. To rest even when we don’t understand. To walk forward even when we don’t know the outcome.

And Lord, we thank You that everything we commit into Your hands will be kept safe, and will unfold according to Your perfect plan. Your Word reminds us in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.

So today, we choose to trust—not in what we see, but in who You are.

We give You all the glory, and we thank You in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Amen.
