Have you ever wondered why God would hand over Job his servant who was blameless in his sight to be afflicted by the devil? In all honesty it would seem like the man did not thing yet, God who wanted to prove a point to Satan that Job was loyal with or without his blessings would stand the test of times. Sounds unfair or unjust if you asked me. Scriptures like this if we don't seek the revelation behind the story we might walk away misunderstanding God to be something He's not and also believing that the Bible is not credible because the scriptures contracts itself. For example, the word of God says "The Lord will keep you from all harm- he will watch over your life; 8 the Lordwill watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. Psalms 121:7-8 NIV"

Wouldn't it seem like the above mentioned scripture contradicts what unfold over Job life who again, was a upright man? The same God who promised to protect his own is the God who "for no reason" handed over his innocent servant in the hands of the devil. Sounds like a mother throwing her baby in the dens of lions right? How cruel? Some of you might be wondering at this point of the text. My fear for God would not permit me think that God was horrible for doing this but it's something I struggled with understanding why did He.
Could it be that God was trying to prove a point to the devil? Wouldn't that be prideful? Or could it be that there's an important lesson to us that God wants us to understand? Let's examine further.
Job chapter 1 (NIV Version)
1 In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.
6One day the angels[a] came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan[b] also came with them. 7 The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”
8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
12 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.”
Why did God brought Job up to Satan? Did God knew something that no one else including Satan knew?
Let's dig a little deeper.

Not long after in fact in Chapter 3:25 Job himself gave us the keys to which caused this to happen to him. He shared with us a law of God activated this upon him.
He said "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me."
Wait a minute Job, so you're telling us that it was that caused this to happened? Wait! FEAR opened up this door of affliction to you? Could this be the reason why God told us 356 times do "NOT TO FEAR!"
It's safe to conclude based on what Job stated fear is an open to door 🚪 that can expose us to all sort of troubles.
Let's put this puzzle together, whatever we fear can come upon us. Why? Because when we fear it violates the laws/rules of God that says "do not" and there's always consequences for breaking rules wether in the natural or in the spirit realm. Lack of repentance can activate consequences when we violate God's laws. The Bible let's us know that God did not give us the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. In other words God did not give us the spirit yes, the fear of anything aside from God Almighty is a spirit and that did not come from God. If it did not come from God where did it come from?
I'm sure we know the answer to that right? Have you ever proven this saying to be true? Have you ever had a personal experience where you yourself was very afraid of something happening and it did despite the many prayers you would have prayed? I have.
Just recently I was having some strange encounters. I couldn't understand why this was happening. The more I prayed the more these visitations would occur. One day, I was in prayer and the Holy Spirit spoke these words to me "the very thing Job feared the most, came upon him." That's when the revelation came I could not believe my ears! I started to reflect on when this all started. For some strange reason I would have dreams concerning this. I would see where the enemy was trying to attack but I would always defeat them in dreams. But lately I realized that things had changed. I was now running from these attackers and sometimes I would see where they had me captive. The more I pray the more these attacks intensifies! The reason why this is so because initially when I realized that the enemy was coming up against me this way. I got fearful, I was so scared of these attackers. I knew I had authority over these powers but for some reason I feared what I was seeing. That opened the door of defeat. Which would explain why my dreams changed from me having the advantages to the enemy having the advantage.
Life is spiritual, what seem foolish could be the keys to your deliverance. The only way I was going to destroy these oppressors was to shut the door of fear that gave them power over Mr Because in fearing them I am violating the laws of God which automatically puts me in a vulnerable state to these wicked enemies. They would show up on my social media and identify themselves. That's how much my fear was attracting these satanic agents. I thank my God through my Lord Jesus Christ that he revealed to me this simple but crucial information.
Sometimes we are praying for deliverance and we think God has forsaken us well I am here as a witness to tell you. Our delayed deliverance is never God's fault. He is faithful to his promises! Our delayed deliverances in most cases are due to lacking of spiritual knowledge. Always remember "it's is through knowledge the just is delivered. Proverbs 11:9 (KJV)" This is one of my favorite scripture and I have proven this saying to be true. My deliverance comes when I understand the why.. or what cause this to happen? If we get afraid of sudden terror then we are setting ourself up for defeat. God promises to rise up a defense when the enemy comes in like a flood but he cannot do this where we are breaking the laws without repentance! "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19"
If the spirit of the Lord has not done this which promised then what happened? Sometimes it's as simple has we feared. Fear is a spirit that opens a demonic door for afflictions and that person might never be delivered unless they come in contact with someone who is annointed to break that yoke or until that person first deal with the spirit of fear.
In summary, Prayer is a powerful weapon and is the channel that brings us all we need from God our ultimate Father. He cares and he listens to our cries. Be sensitive to his Spirit to know what he is saying concerning your situation. Sometimes your deliverance can come through a song. The Bible talks about songs of deliverance! I'll do another blog post on my experiences re: songs of deliverance. Your deliverance can and in most cases comes through spiritual knowledge from a preaching sermon, teachers of the word or even a blog post like this. Again I say be sensitive to know what the Holy Spirit is saying concerning that which troubles your peace of mind. You must pray for a heart of understanding so that you are able to keenly break down these information with wisdom when they are released to you by angelic assistance.
Why is knowledge so important? Because the Bible says without it you will perish. Also, when an evil spirit is gone he always come back. If you are delivered without understanding why this happened or what caused it. You might find your self back in that demonic bondage again and this time it will be worst as it is written. "In the King James Version of the Bible the text reads: 43:When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44:Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished." A believer that's filled with the Holy Ghost cannot be possessed with an evil spirit but can be oppressed by one if there's an opened door. This means that evil spirit can attached itself to that believer's life and afflict that person. I don't speak on anything I don't know. I thank the Lord Jesus for my experiences in areas like this so I can teach from a place of knowledge and understandings. It's never easy but getting the opportunity to share this with you was worth it all. Don't be so quick to escape trials and tribulations instead pray for endurance and a heart of understanding then you will be more content in all circumstances. A demon visited my home once and communicated to one of its friends that it was getting tired of having to see my face. With all laughter 🤭 I interrupted that to mean this devil that was assigned to my salvation was annoyed that after all the plot, schemes and traps I was still standing, unmovable in a territory that I drive them out of by the spirit of God which they seek to return back to from time to time. My prayer for you is that demons will be tired to see your face.
"God is within her she shall not be moved! Psalms 46:5" Saints of God we shall not be moved! Wait patiently on the Lord and shall renew your strength as it is written. I leave you with this final scripture, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5" God bless you all.
